Leading audio entertainment company signs three-year partnership for MEF Connects Barcelona
February 2, 2010 – Demonstrating its leadership and commitment to mobile entertainment, Dolby Laboratories Inc. (NYSE: DLB) has signed a three-year deal with MEF to partner on the MEF Connects networking event at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, giving the company the Premier Sponsor position at this major event from 2010-2012.
As a global leader in technologies that are essential elements in the best entertainment experiences, Dolby Laboratories is helping the mobile industry to make entertainment on the go more compelling through its innovative technologies such as Dolby Media Generator and the MEFFY award-winning Dolby Mobile. Its support for the MEF Connects event at Mobile World Congress is seen as further evidence of its commitment to drive and elevate mobile entertainment adoption.
The MEF Connects party at MWC , now in its eighth year, is the preeminent global networking event for the $32 billion mobile entertainment industry. Held on the first night of the congress, this invite-only event attracts 500+ C-level executives from across the mobile value chain.
