MEF EMEA Board Elections @ MWC - 15 February, Barcelona
The MEF EMEA board is committed to creating local trade development opportunities, providing regional market insight and briefing the membership on legislation affecting their businesses in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Under the chairmanship of Gerrit-Jan Konijnenberg, some of the highlights of the past 12 months include: building the foundations for a local Italian presence; ‘MEF Connects’ networking events in Istanbul and Cape Town as well as a full-day mobile payments conference in London. An example of growing endorsement for MEF membership was the announcement by Turkcell that all their partners are required to join MEF from the beginning of 2010.
