MEF AMERICAS Annual General Meeting presents an opportunity for members to hear the latest on regional activities and initiatives, contribute to planning and priority-setting, and network with other members.

Get Involved -- MEF Americas Board Elections

Run for a seat on MEF America’s board and help shape the future of mobile media. The election will be held for seven available board seats. Newly elected board members will join an impressive list of current Board member companies representing Motorola, mBlox, Dada Entertainment, and Impact Mobile. MEF Americas has recently expanded its board roster to eleven seats to reflect how MEF Americas is growing its activities throughout the region including Canada, U.S., and Latin America.

To apply for one of the seven available seats, please submit a photo and brief campaign statement (200 words maximum) by close of business on August 21st to AmericasAGM@m-e-f.org.  Your submitted profile will be posted on our website and distributed at the meeting. All candidates will be announced via email week commencing August 24th and proxy ballots will be available for those full members who cannot attend in person (one vote per company).

Members are welcome to announce their candidacy up until the election at the meeting. In keeping with our board policy, all MEF Full members, as well as previously serving board directors, in good standing may stand for election.

In order to attend the AGM and Board Elections and the Mobile Leadership Summit, please indicate your preference on the registration form. Your registration must be submitted no later than August 21st, 2009.  Your invitation will be accepted based on the limited space available. For companies in the Value Chain Project, one comp ticket will be provided. Attendee confirmations to be sent the week commencing August 24th.

These events are free but space is limited. Attendance is based on a first come, first served priority.
